Wafer Paper Freesia Flowers

Let’s learn how to make a gorgeous freesia flowers, entirely crafted from wafer paper, without using any wires.

You will learn:

In this class, we will learn the correct way to condition edible paper to shape a hanging stem from wafer paper, how to shape petals, buds, stigma and pistils with this medium.

We will also cover how to color the paper, how to shade the leaves and petals with edible colours, and how to achieve well-defined veins.

You will build the entire flower, leaves and bud without using wires or any inedible materials.

The techniques learned in this course can be applied to many other flowers!

You will learn how to:

Master humidity levels for optimal results
Understand and apply the notions and techniques of using wafer paper
Shape petals and buds at different blooming stages
Form a perfect hanging stem from wafer paper without using a single wire.
Craft receptacles from wafer paper to hold your flowers and buds
